I really like it. What instruments/VST's did you use for this? I like the sounds you used on here, and it sounds very thought out. It sounds a bit like it could belong on a Kpop song!
Also, I feel that the parts thats only one instrument should be a bit fuller, specifically at 0:54. It feels a bit too empty, so I couldnt really go higher than 4. Love the idea, but maybe add something to bring that one part a bit better.

If you don't mind me asking, what instruments are you using for this mix? especially the main melody on the chorus part.
Thanks for the feedback! I used a saw from Cymatics which worked quite well. I mixed it and tuned it to fit the song of course. I used 3 bass presets on Serum, one which I made myself, the other 2 I just edited. I used some future bass drums mixed with dubstep drums to make the drop hit harder. I additionally used some FX and cymbals to keep the track alive. For the rest I think I just used Serum and FLEX presets. I also used some anime vocals with really heavy reverb for a mysterious effect.
It sounds a bit like a Genesis theme, but it has some really distinct features to make it step outside that mold. Sounds like a mix between Sonic and Shinobi, and I like it!
Never even owned a Sega Genesis, but I have played a bunch of Sonic games, and I remember playing Shinobi at a friend's house back in the day quite well, so I can see where you're coming from. Thanks for the review, man! Really glad you dig the track.
